We raise our animals here, at Philly Farm, from birth to the table. Cattle have free choice pasture or hay (during winter or drought). Besides pasture, hay and water, they are given Redmond’s trace mineral salt and an organic mineral supplement. No growth hormones or feed additives are used. The cattle breeds we have on the farm are Dexter, Lowline Angus, and Scottish Highlander all of which are hardier breeds that finish better on 100% grass.
